HIGHEST HONOR: Caitlyn Pattie proves she is one to watch in Australian women’s football making her mark in the sport and demonstrating her incredible skill.SHOALHAVEN High School student, Caitlyn Pattie, has been selected as shadow player for the NSW Combined High Schools State Football Team following an outstanding performance at the state titles in Nelson Bay.Caitlyn represented the South Coast as co-captain of her team, proving her football capabilities by kicking three of the four goals for the team.This will be the second consecutive year Caitlyn has been selected into the combined state teams which is the highest sporting honor a high school student could achieve.From this selection Caitlyn played in the NSW All Schools State Trials held in Sydney for selection in the team. Caitlyn’s team finished with two wins and one loss to finish on equal first.Caitlyn efforts over the last month did not go unnoticed with her selection in the NSW representative all schools team in Townsville next month.Caitlyn follows on from last years superb achievements, where she co-captained Southern NSW under 16 in the premier league grand final and played in the Culburra ladies first grade grand final. Caitlyn was awarded the Shoalhaven Football Leagues’ Phil Webb Medal for the second year in a row.Caitlyn has displayed remarkable skill and aptitude in football over the last 12 months receiving assignment into the NSW Women’s Premier League.
