Sanctuary Point fire possibly lit on purpose

A FIRE in a garage in Sanctuary Point yesterday may have been deliberately lit according to police who attended the scene.Around 1.37am on Sunday, the Rural Fire Service was alerted to a fire in a garage at the rear of the old St Vincent De Paul building in Maclean’s Point Road, Sanctuary Point.The fire was quickly extinguished with minimal structural damage.Police were called to investigate the fire which appeared to have been purposely lit.Police are asking for any witnesses to the fire or anyone who may have information on the lighting of the fire to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Nowra Police on 4421 9699.This story Administrator ready to work first appeared on Nanjing Night Net.
