Arsonist burnt two cars in Nowra CBD

POLICE and Fire and Rescue NSW fire fighters were called to a car fire in the Nowra CBD on Friday.At about 9pm on Friday emergency services were alerted to a vehicle on fire in the car park behind the Roxy Cinema.When police arrived on scene they found a 1994 brown Holden Commodore sedan was on fire.As a result of the radiant heat another car, a1998 Mitsubishi Lancer sedan parked alongside was also damaged.Fire fighters from Nowra extinguished the fire.An investigation at the scene revealed that the fire was deliberately lit, and a wheelie bin and its contents had been used as an accelerant.Investigations are continuing, and police wish to speak with a male who was seen in the vicinity just prior to the fire.The male is described as being about 182 centimetres (six feet) tall, of solid build and wearing a white coloured jumper or jacket.Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have knowledge of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Nowra Police Station on 44219699.This story Administrator ready to work first appeared on Nanjing Night Net.
