There are big changes coming for the Goulburn Post website.
In a little over a month, the Post’s website will be given a whole new look and layout that will be easier to see and read no matter whether you’re accessing it on a PC, a laptop, a tablet or a mobile phone.
Part of the transition to the new-look website includes the way we handle comments. To comment on Goulburn Post stories, readers will need to create an account with Disqus, one of the world’s leading comment moderation sites.
When you create a Disqus account, it will ask for an email address for verification and once you’ve verified the account you can start commenting.
If you prefer, you can still create an online pseudonym so that you can remain anonymous, or you can use a real name, but you will have just one username per email account. Readers can now like or dislike your comments, and you can even follow what a particular user has had to say across a range of topics.
During this changeover of systems, comments will only be visible when you click to the final page. Also you won’t be able to see the number of comments made on the front page but those glitches will be rectified when the new website is operational.
So we still want to hear what you’ve got to say, and we look forward to you joining us on this new comments system.
